Layer on a thin coat. Don't let it dry completely before applying your mascara. It should still be tacky. One coat of mascara afterwards should be enough!

This product helps lashes stay healthy but isn't intended to be a lash growth serum. Applied under mascara as a primer it does help to minimize clumping and increase volume somewhat. Am pleased with the product especially since it is natural.
