Gymnema is a woody, climbing plant common in central and southern India. Its Hindi name, "gurmar," means "destroyer of sugar." The leaves of Gymnema contain Triterpene Saponins called Gymnemic Acids. Solaray® Gymnema Leaf Extract is intended to provide nutritive support for normal blood glucose levels.
