Soothes Bronchial Passages and Promotes Drainage of Mucus
Inhaled pathogens, toxins or allergens can easily irritate the lungs, thereby initiating a change in the internal environment. The production of phlegm is one sign of a disturbance in respiratory health. Excessive dryness is at the other end of the spectrum of potential environmental changes that can be exhibited by the lungs. Lung & Bronchial Tonic is designed to address the full range of potential symptoms. It contains herbal extracts known as expectorants, which dispel phlegm and help to thin mucus to promote proper drainage. The formula also contains a category of herbs known as demulcents, which soothe bronchial passages by lubricating the irritated respiratory tract.
Provides Immune Enhancement and Antimicrobial Support
A respiratory infection can be of viral, bacterial or fungal origin. These infections may occur in the throat, pharynx, sinuses, larynx, trachea or bronchi and can result in a variety of ailments including the common cold, bronchitis and pneumonia. Lung &Bronchial Tonic provides potent antimicrobial support while enhancing immune system function to protect against pathogenic influences.

The Eclectic Physicians referred to elecampane as a specific for addressing irritating bronchial coughs, especially in children. It possesses a relaxing and soothing effect on bronchial tube linings and has an expectorant action, which makes elecampane especially effective for bronchitis, whooping cough and bronchial asthma.
Sundew (Drosera burmannii)
Sundew is primarily used to treat spasmodic respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and whooping cough, as well as coughs due to colds. Through relaxing the muscles of the respiratory tract, sundew eases breathing, relieves wheezing and lessens spasms. It also contains antibacterial properties.
Plantain has been used medicinally by European herbalists for centuries. The emollient properties of plantain naturally support healthy bronchial passages and soften the bronchial membranes, while also acting as an expectorant and antimicrobial. Plantain has been approved by the German Commission E for internal use to ease coughs and mucous membrane irritation associated with upper respiratory tract infections.
Mullein leaf is useful for relieving cough and cold symptoms. The mucilage content of the plant coats and soothes irritated mucous membranes, while the saponins exhibitmild expectorant action.
Lobelia is indicated specifically for irritable and spasmodic cough and oppressed breathing, as well as for respiratory disorders from exalted nerve force and nerve irritation. It is a reliable expectorant and is useful in all cases of dry, hard, barking cough, or where expectoration is difficult to raise.
Horehound has traditionally been used as an expectorant, assisting in the removal of mucus from the lungs or throat. Horehound exhibits antispasmodic and pain-relieving effects. It is more potent than some well-known analgesic
