Awesome, quiet and adds good humidity
The positive thing about this is that one does not need a filter and unlike warm mist, this can be used in the summer too. I use faucet 10 stage filter water and have not found white deposit issues for the last 2 weeks I've been using this. Might have to observe for a longer time. The water tank has to be lifted from its base and reversed, cap removed water filled, cap replaced and reversed and placed on the base. There are no leaks whatsoever. Easy to carry, maybe a bit heavy for weak people...but the point is not to make it look nice and appealing and fit with the decor of the room. It has some air holes at the bottom, so keep it on a flat hard surface. I have a gas heater, and used to give me eye irritation and dry cough which has disappeared. I got a 20% discount, that made it $10 cheaper with free shipping. The packaging was great and it took a week to be delivered However, it it arrived in awesome condition.

Needs improvement
Bought this online and not pleased about design elements - difficult to fill (no handle so you have to hold the heavy base while leaning over the tub. Can't fill from top which would be easier. Perplexed by the "auto-shutoff" and "whisper quiet" claims. This thing will run out of water in the early morning hour and certainly does NOT shutoff. It continues to make its annoying buzz until I get up and turn it off. Because it's transparent, the "on" light lights up the entire orb at night, turning it into a nightlight of sorts in your bedroom- which I find annoying, probably fine if in a kids room. Lastly, the higher settings release a lot of water, which would be great/ is what you want in dry CO, but it just ends up soaking the floor/whatever it's sitting on in the morning - left this on a leather stool one night - absolutely drenched the next morning. So you can only use the mid-low settings and then what's the point?
