evanhealy Chamomile Eye Care Cream 0.5oz

Price $31.99

  • Himalayan Sea Buckthorn oil nourishes, revitalizes and protects, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Artisan-infused organic chrysanthemum (feverfew) soothes and calms irritated skin
  • Oat beta glucan and natural plant-sourced peptides encourage collagen synthesis, which works to brighten and lighten dark circles

Chamomile Eye Care Cream is a deeply regenerating daily treatment created specifically for the very delicate skin that surrounds the eye area, both the upper and lower lid area. Consistent use minimizes and softens visible lines and wrinkles and the gentle, natural fragrances of organic lavender and chamomile essential oils relax and release tension held in the eye area. Light, nourishing plant oils leave the skin velvety smooth, providing a soft luminous glow.

NEW additions and improvements! evanhealy's intensive botanical Chamomile Eye Cream is still rich in antioxidants, artisan distilled hydrosols, flower petal waxes, active herbal extracts and organic plant oils to restore radiance, deeply moisturize, tone and refresh the delicate skin of the eye area.

What they've taken out: they removed vegetable emulsifying wax NF, retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), and grapefruit seed extract. In their places, they're using the more holistic choices of cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate, derived from olive oil, as the emulsifier; and sodium benzoate and gluconolactone as the preservative. These ingredients are all improvements. They're accepted under the natural and organic standards of Ecocert, and have some of the best ratings in Skin Deep's Cosmetic Safety Database.

evanhealy is an artisan-quality skin care treatment line created by aesthetician Evan Healy. Her holistic approach draws from traditional plant lore, aromatherapy, ayurveda, and homeopathy. Through her experience with holistic therapies Evan has observed the connection between plants and skin. Rather than treating areas of imbalance such as an overly oily condition, the more holistic, successful and long-term solution is to support the totality of skin functions using simple plant-based formulations and non-invasive treatment methods. This approach encourages the skin, with its innate ability to regulate itself, to breathe.

Press a small amount of their Eye Cream around the upper and lower eyelid area. Allow a few minutes to penetrate and then apply eye shadow, if desired. Finish with a spray of Facial Tonic Hydrosol. Store away from heat and light.

It is such a bummer when you find a product you love, and the company changes the recipe. Now my eyes tear when I put on the cream. I try so carefully to just pat it around the eye bone, but shortly after applying, I start tearing up. I am really disappointed, especially because of the price. I think evanhealy makes good skin care, I just don't think it is good for sensitive skin. Her blue camomile line was not for me, either.
