We prepare our Uva-Ursi Extract from the leaf of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi shrubs which are Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat and Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure thorough extraction of Uva-Ursi's bioactive compounds, the leaves are hand-harvested at their optimal potency, are carefully shade-dried & cleaned of superfluous stems and are then promptly extracted. Our Uva-Ursi is never fumigated or irradiated.
