really works!
I have long fairly thick hair. Conditioner alone does not leave it tangle-free at all. I put an additional leave-in moisturizer but this does nothing for the tangles. The John Masters really works though. And, for my hair, which is colored, 62 years old, and submits to a blow dryer and curling iron 3 times a week October- May every year, it's not too much "stuff." In other words, it doesn't weigh it down or make it feel greasy. After I blow dry and use the curling iron, it feels good. I haven't tried it as a stand alone conditioner after shampooing. I imagine it would work well. I just want to give my hair plenty of chances to get some moisture.

Not too heavy, not too light. Just right.
Perfect for fine hair. I have shoulder length fine hair. I love that I can rinse this out or leave it in depending on my hair. I rinse it out when I blow out my hair and leave it in when I scrunch it.

Gentle and effective
This detangler works well as such after shampooing or for a leave-in conditioner. The scent is not over-powering and mixes well with other John Masters shampoos and other products.
