David, a native Californian, received his pharmacy degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. He enjoys the integrative approach to health care that Pharmaca provides and has an interest in exploring the benefits of homeopathy.

Susan M., R.Ph., Ph.D.
Susan received her pharmacy degree from Ferris State College in Michigan and her doctorate from the University of Kansas. She has a diverse pharmacy background including experience in higher education, R&D, managed care and community practice. She enjoys the integrative approach to health care that Pharmaca offers.

Dr. Ashleigh Putnam, Naturopathic Doctor, Assistant Manager
Dr. Putnam earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Wash. where she also completed an internship specializing in natural childbirth. As a recent transplant to the area, she looks forward to building her private practice and becoming part of the local community. She has a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, prevention/treatment of allergies, hormone balancing, gastrointestinal disturbance and immune health.

Rebecca C., Health Educator
Rebecca comes to Pharmaca with 15 years experience in natural wellness. She has team-taught classes on restoring the body through detoxification and balance, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. She has also developed extensive supplement knowledge while counseling with natural product companies. Rebecca is passionate about helping people with their health options and sharing her first-hand knowledge about returning to vibrant health after chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and adrenal burnout.

Colleen J., Nutrition Educator, Lead Practitioner
Colleen has always had an avid interest in natural health, and has a certificate in Nutrition Education from Bauman Nutrition College in Santa Cruz. She emphasizes a whole food diet with plenty of exercise. Colleen would not go a day without probiotics, fish oil and lots of veggies! She is also a certified massage therapist focusing on myofascial release, deep tissue and lymph drainage.

Raj M., D Hyp, MET, Energy Therapist
Raj comes to Pharmaca with 15 years of experience in reflexology, clinical hypnosis, energy psychology and aromatherapy. She received most of her training in London, where she had a private practice and spent seven years at the London Lighthouse HIV Center, dealing with anxiety, depression and side effects of patients’ drug therapy. She is also a Reiki Master. Through her own life experiences, Raj has developed a keen interest in helping people with anxiety and stress management using natural supplements and self-help techniques. She also has a special interest in helping people achieve balance and harmony in their everyday life through meditation, Pranayama breathing and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Darcie W., Esthetician and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Native to Monterey, Darcie is both a licensed esthetician and a licensed pharmacy technician. She has an extensive customer service background, with over 11 years experience in a retail pharmacy alone. With a passion for skin care and love for sharing her knowledge, she is proud to be a part of Pharmaca's integrative approach to health care, beauty and overall well being.

Laura M., Esthetician
Laura brings many years of superior customer service to Pharmaca. She attended Gavilan College's esthetician program and uses her extensive product knowledge to help customers see improvements in the health of their skin. She looks forward to furthuring her knowledge of all things related to health and wellbeing with the Pharmaca Team. She is anxious to guide people through the many options as soon as they come in the store.

Connie C., Cosmetologist and Store Manager 
Connie has 18 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, and has focused on situational management and customer service. Her goals are always to exceed the customers' expectation by providing excellent customer service.

Kelly D., Esthetician
Kelly has been a licensed esthetician since 2005 and has experience at several luxury spas in the Monterey Bay area. Her motto is “good skin is always in.” She believes healthy skin reflects what is going on inside, which is why she stresses the importance of combining diet, exercise and lifestyle with quality skin care products to produce your best results. Kelly is always thirsty for knowledge and continues her education on an ongoing basis.
