Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Announces New Vice President of Pharmacy Operations
Kenneth Chao heads new pharmacy model

BOULDER, CO - (September 27, 2006) - Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, has strengthened its leadership team in preparation for accelerated store expansion by hiring Kenneth Chao as Vice President of Pharmacy Operations.

Mr. Chao will direct the chain's growing pharmacy prescription and compounding business, and work together with management and staff to create a wellness environment in each store--integrating the scientific rigors of modern pharmacy with complementary and holistic remedies.

As a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy, Chao has had an illustrious career in the pharmacy world with King Soopers and Kaiser Permanente in Colorado. Prior to joining Pharmaca, Chao was Director of Pharmacy for all King Soopers and City Markets in the Rocky Mountain region. Additionally, Chao has served on the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy for eight years, was President and Vice President of the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy, and was awarded the Distinguished Coloradan Award by the University of Colorado, School of Pharmacy in 2000.
