Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Opens in South Boulder Dec. 14th
Hometown pharmacy adds third local outlet, thirteenth store nationally

BOULDER, Colo. (Nov. 14, 2006) – Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, the first and leading chain of integrative pharmacies in the United States, opens its newest store in Boulder on Thurs., Dec. 14 at 8:00 a.m., at 645 S. Broadway, in the Table Mesa Shopping Center.

This new store opening follows last month’s equity financing deal of $18MM – raised to support Pharmaca’s new-store expansion plans.

“We are thrilled to officially open the doors to Boulder’s third Pharmaca,” said Pharmaca’s co-founder and CEO Barry Perzow. “With our rapid expansion plan unfolding, we made sure our hometown was at the top of the list. Now, residents of south Boulder can also enjoy traditional and complementary pharmacy products and services in close proximity, just as our customers in downtown and north Boulder do now.”

Continuing its mission to offer a more holistic pharmacy experience, the new Pharmaca location will debut the following features:

• A compounding pharmacy offering customized prescriptions for children, pets, hormone replacement therapy and more.
• A wellness design, created by the same firm that helped design Starbucks, that can’t be compared to a traditional drugstore. This pharmacy will feature a welcoming space where people will linger over spa skincare lines and high-quality vitamins.
• A section devoted to spa & beauty, including a wide array of personal care products, including high end lines, and products made with natural and organic ingredients.
• A tea & reading area will provide access to health reference materials in a calm and soothing environment.
• A baby section where all-natural products for children and mothers will be offered
• Information on environmentally-friendly products that promote green living.
