Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Names Janet Mathews Chief Financial Officer


BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 4, 2006) - Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Inc., the first and leading chain of integrative pharmacies in the United States, announced today the hiring of Janet Mathews as chief financial officer.

Mathews has more than 20 years of diversified financial and business management experience with publicly-traded and private companies in the retail, Internet and direct mail, hospitality, manufacturing and construction sectors. She spent the last 10 years at Gaiam, Inc., as their chief financial and administrative officer, and vice president of business development, where she participated in building the company from a start-up to a $200 million business and successfully completed their initial public offering and secondary offerings.

Prior to Gaiam, Mathews served as principal financial officer, controller and director of operations at Seventh Generation, Inc., in Burlington, Vt., completing their IPO in 1993, and has also held financial and business management positions in the resort industry and with Ingersoll-Rand in the manufacturing sector. She has served on several boards of directors and served on the State of Vermont Small Business Development Authority. Mathews received her B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Nevada.
