Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Expanding in Seattle
Wallingford Center is newest location for pharmacy offering both conventional and natural healthcare products


Seattle, Wash. (June 7, 2007) – Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy will open its second Seattle location on Thursday, June 28th in North Seattle. With its 4,000 square feet store and over 20 employees, Pharmaca will now offer its unique blend of prescription filling services together with conventional and alternative products at the Wallingford Center, 1815 N. 45th Street.

According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)^[1], 36 percent of American adults aged 18 years and over use some form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Often, however, consumers must fill their prescriptions in different places, and may find it difficult to access customized services such as compounding. Recognizing the strengths of housing traditional medicine and CAM under one roof, Pharmaca has revolutionized the concept of pharmacy in an environment that emphasizes patient advocacy and preventative health care.

Pharmaca’s full service pharmacy fills prescriptions from any provider and accepts most insurance plans.
