Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy hires new vice president of retail sales, merchandising and operations
Steve Davis to create the ultimate integrative pharmacy experience for Pharmaca’s customers


BOULDER, Colo. (June 18, 2007) – Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Inc., the first integrative pharmacy chain in the United States, has hired seasoned senior executive Steve Davis as its new vice president of retail sales, merchandising and operations. Davis will be responsible for the direction, control and coordination of all merchandising activities and retail operations of the company.

Davis brings to Pharmaca over 25 years of experience in the food, drug and natural food industry, and a passion for healthy living. Most recently employed as vice president of holistic health at Wild Oats Markets, he knows intimately the importance of educating consumers about the benefits of organic, natural and alternative medicine. Davis developed and implemented a new ‘holistic health’ concept at Wild Oats that marketed supplements, body and beauty care, and general merchandise on a platform of education. Coupled with a new store prototype, Davis’s innovative approach revolutionized the company’s go-to-market strategy within the natural food channel.

Throughout his accomplished career Davis has excelled in top management positions at organizations including the Efficient Consumer Response Management Corporation, Giant Food Stores Inc., Tops Markets Inc., and Finast Supermarkets Inc. He holds a BSc. in business administration and marketing from Illinois State University, and an MBA from Babson University, Mass.
